I am very concerned about one of my girls. She seems to be eating and drinking ok, and is not just sitting around looking droopy. The symptoms are these: Her eyes are droopy and I am noticing that the flesh all around her eyes is pale. I don't know if this next symptom has anything to do with anything, but I am noticing that her legs are also pale. The other four of my chickens have yellow or gold legs, hers are nearly white. She has had issues with runny, watery, poo. I have treated this girl in the past with an epsom salts bath due to she had poo stuck in her tail feathers below the vent. I am wondering if I should get her to the vet. She has been laying eggs for about three weeks, but her eggs only come about every other day.
We feed layer pellets, and the girls also have been free ranging in our back yard. I put Bragg's Apple Cider Vinegar in their water. I sprout wheat berries that they get about once a day. They also get some fresh spinach from our garden. We try to do everything as organically as possible here. She has had the eye problem for over a week now, and she seems to be declining. I am really puzzled about her condition. Having read descriptions of symptoms from some web sites, she doesn't seem to have any of the major diseases. Could anyone offer some suggestions? Maybe I should get her in to a veterinarian.

you can take her to a vet, that is always best. Although ACV is a good natural dewormer, it doesn't necessarily address all issues. I assume it's organic with the Mother in it? Free range birds don't normallly have a big problem with worms, but she COULD have worms, or coccidiosis.
Remember that chickens conceal symptoms so she could be sicker than you think. If I were you I would isolate her from the others, and start her on some Amprol. It is gentle and in fact you can still eat the eggs with that. It is available on line, or you could even try her on medicated chick starter, it contains the same thing. Amprol treats coccidiosis. I am hesitating to suggest a dewormer because of the diarhea, and I think she can have cocci and not necessarily have bloody droppings. It is important to treat quickly. If she doesn't improve in a few days, definitely take her to the vet if there is one who treats birds.
