Prolapse Keeps Popping Back Out! What to do?

A friend of mine brought her young prolapsed pullet over. she is just about laying age now. We washed it, and sprayed hem-spray on it and pushed it back in, but it keeps popping back out!

It's secluded in a small cage in the warm house.

What to do?

I have no advice for you unfortunately, but what the heck is hem spray????

You know, I meant to type a little bit about hem-spray.....It's like Preparation-H, only it's not a gel - it's in a spray - much more convenient. I had some on hand, just in the event I ever needed it.

Was just reading about your hen. How is she? Have you considered reporting that feed store to someone?

I'd go back and get that other hen too!

If it's cold, it doesn't have any other chicken's body heat to keep it warm if it's alone.
