I have a one year old SIlkie hen that has prolapsed today. Of course it was right before a buyer was coming to look at her! I had to call them and tell them not to come. I could not sell them a bird that was not healthy. Anyway. I read over some of the articles dealing with prolapse and have decided to try the prep H method. I did wash her and attempted to re insert it. It stayed in a couple of minutes. I will try again for the next few days and place her in an isolation cage Argh!!! Any more suggestions?
