Protein using wet meat dog food?

i read how some people use cat food for moulting chickens...

i have dogs...
we have some canned dog food they didnt like.... would the chickens be alright?

i plan to feed it to the only chicken that is moulting this winter.

its one of the pedigree pouches of dog food.. if i gave it a little will it help for protein????

(i know dog food is good... i remember when i was a kid i would eat that stuff.... : p )

any way i think they use cat food because it has some stuff in that dog food dont have or the other way around.... i dont really know but good luck
