protruding crop?

Had to hold a chicken today who hates to be held...she squirmed quite a lot and now I have noticed that her crop is very noticeable and protruding a bit? Did I do something to hurt her inadvertently? Or am I worrying for nothing? She seems fine now and is scratching around the garden...
