PROTRUSION AT CORD SiTE - NORMAL?

baby chick hatched around 2 am

after 9 hours the cord was still attatched to the egg and there is protrusion coming from where the cord enters the abdomin.

Is this normal or is it aproblem that I should address?

It's fine and will heal up and shrivel away on its own. As long as their aren't any guts hanging out. Some of them just seem to have a little larger attachment than others. Is it walking around ok and everything?
 
The baby is very active standing, and VERY vocal

this is just the first hatch for me and I have not seen this on the rest of the chicks.
