Proud Chicken Mom!!!

Ok I know this isn't all that exciting but tonight I went out to lock the coop and check on my girls and they were all roosting!!! Proud chicken mom. For the longest time I would check on them and they would just be huddled in the corner in a big pile. Its the little things in life that count!

That is peck-cellent! Lucky you. Mine refused to perch until they were about 3 years old...go figure

I had EEs once that I had to place on the perch before they figured it out. The rooster was crowing and still huddleing in the corner. Just like me, not too bright.

Agree, almost like watching our human children taking their firsts. I remember how excited I was with our first egg...proud Mama.
