Proud of My POW (Picture of the Week)

I'm so proud of Smokey and had to show off his beautiful photo, which was selected for Picture of the Week today. YAY.

Smokey is a blue Cochin bantam. He was 5 months old when the photo was taken. He's a very good cockerel, assertive without mean-ness, gentle with the ladies, and always looking for bugs, treats and calling them to him. He comes onto my lap when he wants to cuddle, and is very gentle. When I come out with treats, he lets all his hens and chicks eat first, and I always make sure he gets some when almost all is gone.
