Proud Owner Of 23 Crested Polish

[Polish Chickens]

Hi!

I'm 24 and am the proud owner of 23 crested polish chicks as I had about 25 of them but when they arrived to my home one was already dead during transit and another one died a few days later and now another one which I assume isn't going to make it either as it is just laying there very weak. I have a love for these breed of chickens and I hope to raise some more in the near future. I will also try to post some pics if I could. But for the mean time I would like to meet other owners of the crested polish breed

P.S. Have you tried sugar water for the chickie? also, just look at the forum "Raising Baby CHicks"

. I don't own any crested polish but have eggs in the incubator due to hatch in a couple weeks that I am excited about!!! Can't wait to see pics!

I just got my first polish chick the other day! We think she is a buff laced. I tend to go for more egg and meat producers, but she (?) had a deformed beak (the top part curved up a little bit so her mouth wouldn't close.) It kind of looked like this ^ so they threw it in for free at the feed store. She is absolutely adorable and so bold and friendly!!! When we find out for sure what she is, she will either be named Einstein or Marilyn (as in Monroe). I know, not the most original names, but the boys named them.

Thanks for the welcomes and the one that was very weak has unfortunatly died in the early morning hours when I was sleeping. So now I have 22 crested chicks remaining

I'm sorry.

It seems to me the crested varieties are more delicate then others.
