I've been watching our neighbor's chickens from our upper deck for months now and have fallen madly in love with them. Latifa, Suzie, Henrietta, and the Twins. I was completely shocked when I got home last night to find my partner, Frank, building something crazy in the back yard. Well, it's a coop!!! No idea he had this in his head! He knows how much I love the neighbor girls, and am insanely jealous of my cousin's family's brood, but to just get out the saw and start creating - Wow!!!
So, we don't have the coop finished yet. We have no chickens yet. And I am certain our neighbors have been raising theirs under the radar of the home owners association rules, so where on earth do we start?!?!??!
