One of my chickens who is about 8 months old is looking sick. This started about 2 days ago I noticed her comb got pale, she had a dirty butt, and she was standing still puffed up and barely interested even in treats. She does still peck at food not much though and I have seen her drinking water, I’ve been looking in all their poops and haven’t seen worms. We regularly have ACV in their water as well as the occasional vitamin mix. Here are her symptoms:
Lethargy
Dirty butt with green poos
Pale comb
Heard her sneeze 2 times in the last 2 days
Standing in one spot puffed
I will say that right now like 4 of my hens not inckudong the one described above have very dirty butts but no other symptoms. I checked the lethargic one for mites and did not find any or any sign of them. Maybe worth noting I’m not sure, I had a chicken of the same flock become extremely ill around Christmas time with wry neck which cleared up but then she had all the other symptoms I say above after her neck straightening out. We tried EVERYTHING but I believe she had an impacted infected crop.
No one around here treats chickens i called the one vet that lists on their website that they do treat chickens and the lady straight up told me they’ll trim their beaks but nothing else so love that they lie on their website. I’m so frustrated and stressed over this wtf is wrong with my chicken.
I brought her in the house to separate her. Gave her scrambled eggs and water which she barely cares about. She just pooped so I am adding a picture of her poop. Started corid yesterday.
