Pullet eggs?

Hi helpful friends,

I got to lovely Sussex girls who have just started laying wee pullet eggs and I was wondering how long these wee eggs last before they become standard-sized eggs? Do the eggs get gradually bigger over a long period of time, or is it something that happens kind of quickly like one day they are small and the next, normal-sized? My students are so 'eggcited' to find these wee eggs in the coop most days. They are going to try and sell them to their parents at $1 each! lol!

Something tells me they might just make a sale or two. Better yet, also take them to the their grandparents, uncles, and aunts, and they are bound to. lol
