I have read here that hatching pullet is not good idea and also that plenty of folks hatch them just fine. I would like to hear what criteria everyone uses to determine when eggs laid by pullets are ready to be set for hatching?

Well, Pullet eggs are their first eggs, and might be a little not all the way formed. Also they are generally smaller than when they start laying full blast.

Ok, so when are the eggs from pullets no longer considered pullet eggs? Anyone?

Well it does not really matter how long they are considered pullet eggs. After about a month of laying they should be good to hatch.
