Pullet hiding

So i free range during the day and everyone goes in a coop in the barn at night. I got a sizzle pullet that at first went in with everyone else. (Got her with a silkie roo and another silkie pullet.) After 2 days in the main coop, she started disappearing at night before the coop is closed up (I close it myself) but shows up during the day. Tonight I went out early enough to follow her to see where she went.

In wild rose Bush she went under. any clue why she is doing this? The coop is around 10' x 6' (estimating havent really measured, could be larger.) And over 6' tall with a way to the second floor. Plenty of space and no signs of bullying. I dont want to lock up again for a few days cause she would be the only one in the coop for that time frame.

All I can think of was to put her in the coop right before dark and maybe she'll start learning. GOD bless.

You may have to keep her locked up in the coop with a friend or two for a day or so to teach her to roost there at night. Good luck!

I would keep her locked in the coop for a few days and then see if she goes in at night. I have to do this with one or two of my pullets every year it seems

So I put her in on Wednesday. Yesterday went to find her, wasnt at her hiding spot. Put in the roo and other pullet and there she was in the coop
