Hi! I’m a new member here at Backyard Chickens. I acquired two Rhode Island Red chicks this spring, and they are now four months old. I was wondering if you experienced chicken keepers can tell the sex of my young ones. I’m fairly certain at least one is a cockerel. The top two photos are of the one I believed to be a cockerel, and the bottom two are the one I thought was (maybe?) a pullet.
Thank you for your help!

Both are PULLETS.

Thank you all so much for your help! I’m relieved to find out they’re probably both pullest, since I live in town and roosters aren’t allowed. However, I have noticed them chest bumping each other with their neck feathers out. Does this mean anything or is this normal pullet behavior? Sorry for all the questions; this is my first time raising chicks.
