Pullet signs of laying egg

Ok I have a pullet which is about 6 months old (she is a black cope maran with a pea comb ) she Is about to lay her comb is so red and 1 week 5 days ago someone here told me if my two fingers fit there she will lay in one week but she didnt lay yet

Is your pullet doing the "submissive squat" for you? If so, she is very very close to lay. Let's face it, it's a waiting game at best. Be patient...your girl will lay her first egg when her system is good 'n ready. I know it's near impossible to do, but patience is a virtue! One day soon you'll hear the glorious egg song!
