unfortunately this morning a predator (likely a mink or weasel) got into the chicken run and killed 5 of our 6 chickens. we have one 4-5 month old pullet left who only suffered what appears to be two slight puncture wounds on her back (we've cleaned out the wounds and put an ointment on them, if anyone has better ideas on what to do to help please let me know). we took her inside for now but she won't eat or drink (we syringe fed her a small amount of water earlier to ensure she gets some fluids) and i haven't seen any poops so far. if anyone has tips on how to help her now and what to do in the future re. getting her some new chicken friends they would be greatly appreciated :(

I’m sorry about your chicks 😕
She may be experiencing some shock so you could try to get her to drink some sugar water. I’ll post the recipe. If she won’t drink it you can syringe it to her. Hopefully that’ll help perk her up ❤️
