This morning I was separating my pullets by breed, and I noticed dried poop on one of my CCLs rear. I gave it a warm bath and cleaned it up. That was when I noticed the pullet's anus was protruding. I've never seen this before. The pullets acts perfectly normal, eating, drinking, and active. I have separated her from the rest, now what? Any advice or info would be greatly appreciated.

That is a prolapsed vent. Has the prolapse gone back in yet? If not apply some lubricant and try pushing it back inside so that the tissue doesn't dry out. Honey, Preparation H, or make a paste from sugar and water, and apply that to the pink tissue to help reduce swelling. Some chicks are prone to this, and hens can have it from trying to pass too large of an egg or from being egg bound from having too little calcium. The chick may be constipated, so you could give it a few drops of mineral oil or castor oil, ans make sure it has plenty of water. I put several water stations for my chickens because the lower pecking order chickens may be kept from water or food. Probios dispersible powder is a good product to use in the water 2-3 days a week for all ages to keep good bowel health.

Okay, I followed your instructions, I used hemorrhoid medication and kept the pullet in a separate pen with plenty of water. I gently pushed it back in and to my surprise it went back in easily. It appeared the problem was solved. Today (Day 3) I intended to reintroduce her to the flock an to my dismay it was back to square one. This time there was a lot of white pasty poop caked around it ,and caked on her beak. I cleaned it up again and pushed it back in again and now she is drying off back in isolation. Is this something that might not correct itself?
