My hens are about 7 - 8 months old . One of them has always had a large comb but I always felt she was the one laying eggs . I also have a Dominique that has a darker black shade than the other two . Is this normal ? The store labeled them as pullets but I know they can sometimes be off ! I Would not be able to keep a roaster so I just want to make sure . I looked into it and thought they were hens by there wings !🤞 I’ve checked and none of the eggs have been fertile also no signs of rooster noises !

I am no expert on this breed. Isa brown? But the wattles are quit big too and neck feathers are pointy wich indicate cockerel.

Can you post the the saddle feathers and tail too? Well as long as you hear no crow you can keep them anyway. Wait what others say or wait another month be sure.
