Hi all. This 12 week old hopefully pullet was sold to me as an Ameraucana. Reading through a few threads I’m thinking she/he is an EE. Her legs look more green than blue. That said I’m so hoping she is a she. I love her coloring, but I can not have Roos where I live. ( I already have to find homes for 2 Buff Orpingtons....purchased 6 pullets...yeah right) she is a month younger than my other newbies this year and is very shy, and doesn’t carry herself like a roo, but I’m just not sure. What’s your opinion?

1st pic I thought Beautiful Pullet, red comb = maybe preparing to lay
2d pic Handsome Cockerel, I thinking I'm seeing saddle feathering starting

:fl Pullet but more likely a Cockerel :hit
:pop Following to see what others say. :love the coloring, it's an EE
Thank you for your thoughts....fingers crossed. Wonder if my neighbors will mind a Cockerel?

It depends on how close they are-- if you are not allowed to keep cockerels where you live, it's best to start looking for a new home for him. It's a total bummer, but if you can find him a happy home, it makes it better.
