Are they the only ones that sleep with their heads tucked in their wing or do the Roos do it too? Sorry for the newbie question. I have 2 /3 is
Likes that are doing this and just trying to figure out sex. They are only a month old
I've never noticed my birds sleeping with their heads tucked under their wings. I will have to look out for this.
Some for sure signs of telling roosters from hens are:
Roosters have thicker legs. They also have a bigger redder comb at an earlier age (hens usually get a red comb at around 16 weeks or so, while roosters can get it much sooner). Sometimes roosters feather out later than hens too.
