Ok, I so I set up and "bill-out" proofed a cat feeder. The adults seemed to enjoy it as much as the babies
. This morning instead of finding the babies at the end of the run where I put the feeder, they were up on the branches I put in there for the birds to jump and rest on. I have no idea if they were chased up there or if they were just hanging out, but it's still a little early for me to check their crops and see if they ate.
What if the adults are blocking BOTH feeding stations? I guess at least they have more of a chance of grabbing something to eat when there are two. Water has not been an issue for them.
