Pullets and chicks?

Ok, so my fiancee nd i want 2 BA 1BO and 2 LO for our first flock, but i am having a hard time finding fully sexed LO pullets. I cN however, find day old chicks or i could hatch eggs. Given we dont want a rooster i am not sure what to do about the LO'S we really dont want to deal with the chick route yet but we dont think we could slaughter a roo if we hatched one either... help?

We got a rooster and we didn't want one? (There is a 10% chance you will get a rooster) if you get a rooster and don't want it, sell it! We sold ours on Craigslist.
