We added 3 RIR about 9 weeks ago and they are supposed to be pullets but one seems to be a roo. Can you tell? Sorry the pictures aren’t so great. They are supposed to be all hatched at the same time and 9 weeks old. One pic is when they were only a few weeks old. One looked very different from the other two. Let me know what you think. Thanks

'Curly stuff' not much of a problem - slender, point, shiny stuff - masculine.
I’m going to get closer pictures. You were right about two months ago on my older birds when I thought a red face meant roo ... Now i know they all turn red it’s just a matter of when. This particular one I’m concerned about is hard to catch... I try to handle them all so if needed it’s not too uncomfortable but this one doesn’t like much interaction.

These are more pictures of the one I’m not sure about. I could hold him and spread his wing while trying to take a pic . Still think it’s a pullets?

Good I hope you’re right! . It would be good. So her short tail is okay and the neck feathers? They all supposed to be the same breed but this one took longer to feather and still is smaller than the rest and has shorter feathers.
