do pumpkin seeds need to be dried prior to planting?

We always dry our seeds since its a while in between planting them. Make sure you scrape as much of the guts off the seeds as possible!! will cause mold/rot on the seeds and they are worthless and what not.

i dont have to wait. we live in the tropics and dont have seasons. anything wrong with planting fresh seeds?
