Pumpkin Time!

I cut a pumpkin in half and plopped it in the run for our small flock of 5 to enjoy. Of course they all seem petrified and are avoiding the pumpkin like the plague, we will see if they warm up to it!

Mine weren't crazy about the raw pumpkin (although I see where a lot of other chickens enjoy it). I finally scooped out the insides, including the seeds, and cooked it for them and they loved that!

Maybe your chickens are connoisseurs like mine

Maybe I will try that! After work I can see how they have liked the pumpkin
