Not sure if this is of any help but she appears to have some Australian Shepherd in her (merle coloring, ears, and character description--sometimes they can be reserved around strangers, higher energy)...is there any sort of Aussie rescue in your area? I believe there's one called "Rosa's Rescues" in the SW Ohio/NE KY area...maybe there's something along those lnes one closer to you? They have a lot of networking resources and your photos and description is really helpful. Best of luck in finding her a great home--you're doing the right thing!

I can't take her, but I know of a no-kill shelter in west TN...
