Puppy meets the girls

And they were none too thrilled with him. He, on the other hand, wanted them to play. He bounced and bounced doing his puppy play routine and watched them intently. Later in the evening while out for his potty walk, he heard something near the coop and went to chase it away. Good boy.

Here are some pics of their first encounter...they meet through the run fence of course...Casca, while sweet is still big.

What a beaufitul dog! What kind is he?

I remember those days with our dog Dalton. I don't know how we got through them without worrying about him attacking the birds! Now he stays outside with them all the time during the warmer months and the worst he's ever done was steam roll one of my chicks when he wasn't paying attention!

Chickerdoodle13 he is a 13 week old 1/2 great pyrenees 1/2 black labrador

He has shown no aggression towards the girls...just curiosity and hopeful of playmates. LOL
