Hi everyone. I have a question.
It is just pure curiosity bUT can ducks be dosed with corid?
I have 2 ducklings with my 9 chicks. If the problem of cocci. occurs I was wondering if it was safe for ducks? If so is it the same doseing as chickens?

9.6% Corid dose is 10 ml per gallon for 5 days, then 2.5 ml per gallon for 7-14 days.. If anyone every has a bird that's not drinking, Corid can be given undiluted orally at 0.1 ml per pound I found this online about corid for ducks.

Completely safe, but coccidia isn't as much a concern for ducks as it is for chickens. They have a higher body temp that is thought to be inhospitable for the protozoa.
