Purina exp. Date?

I just bought this bag of flock raiser at tsc. Does this mean it was made on march 22nd? Seems odd because it is a new store that just opened a month or 2 ago. Should i return it? Do you think it is ok to feed? Thank you

There should be a date on the white sewn tape binding on the bottom.

In this one from a bag of Purina flock raiser, 7 refers to 2017, then month and day, Aug 23. I called Purina and learned this. I would rather not buy anything more than 6 weeks past the mill date. This bag was just a week old when purchased this summer.

x2! I also buy Flock Raiser, and always look at the mill date first, and want to use the feed within six weeks of milling.

First pic...never noticed that, will have to look on FR bags tomorrow.
Second pic is waht I see and use to know when it was manufactured.
Not sure there are 'expiration' dates on feeds.
