Purina Flock Raiser Question

So I just wanted to check the milk date on my bag. This may be a really dumb question, but where is it on the bag? Thank you!

Purina puts the date in code on the white tape across the bottom.
This photo was taken a year ago. The 9 is for 2019. then the month and day. The letters signify the mill, which in my case was Springfield MO. I looked at my current bag, the first number is 0, for 2020.

Wow, I feel awful now. Is this too old? My gander recently stopped eating and I have another thread about his poop. This could be why. I just bought it last week! I should have known to check

Well, some people do say up to 6 months is okay. I try to find it less than 2 months o!d. How does it look and smell?

If you have your receipt, I'd take it back to the store.

It looks and smells ok, but my goose won't eat it. There isn't much left. Is there any way to help him get back to eating? What date should I be looking for wgen I go tomorrow? Thanks for your help.
