Purina pur-a-yeast substitute for Brewers yeast?

I can't seem to find Brewers yeast and wondered if Purina pur-a-yeast would be accepted as a substitute

I don't know about Purina pur-a-yeast but I used to have captive raised poison dart frogs and used brewers yeast to raise wingless fruit flies for them to eat. I always bought the brewers yeast online from Josh's Frogs website. 5lbs for $14.99. Best price I was able to find but it was animal grade.
