We have had this one hen who has limped ever since a Rooster was too rough with her. We are pretty sure she isn’t laying any eggs and for the last 2 days she doesn’t move very far. Husband has checked her feet and they seem fine. She hasn’t even tried to eat the meal worm treats for the last 2 days. He did notice her comb seemed to be purplish while the others are bright red. Do you have any idea what could be going on?

We live in Maryland and it hasn't been extremely cold out this season.

Purple combs could be an indicator of poor circulation as a result of heart problems. How old is she?

She is only a year, but the Rooster really did hurt her last summer and she has never been right since then.
