I have Isa Browns that are a little over a year old. Today I noticed alot of blood on an egg shell so I did vent checks. One of them that is missing quite a few feathers had what looked like puss in her vent. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with her.

You may have to give her a bath to clean it, and put something on it, sounds like she laid a big egg and it tore the opening.

I would give her a good soak in epsom salt bath. Deep enough for her to lay down and have water covering her vent. That looks infected. May also possibly be fly strike. Check the wound thoroughly for maggots. Or even mites as they love to chew/bite around vent area. Triple antibiotic cream should be applied at least a couple times a day and either separation from flock or blukote to ensure the rest arent pecking at her vent. Good luck
