Today is their first day in the guinnea run (a 25x15ft inclosure with a net above it). They joined the ducks (2, 4 week rouens)who have bee in it for 3 days now, and so far all is going well! I watched them for a few min and they immediately ran to a corner where the fencing wasnt secure, so I fixed that. I put their little brooder box (a tote with a hole in it) in with them so they can go into it if they get scared or if it rains.

Its amazing though, because they arnt NEARLY as scared outside in the run as they were in the brooder in the garage! I walk right up to them and they dont even run away, where as in the garage I came within 5 ft of them and they freaked out. They also dont seem to mind the ducks one bit. Wierd birds.

They will be spending the days in the run, and I will gather them up (not easy...but I shove 'em in a cooler to transport them, LOL) at night and stay in their brooder pen in the garage with the lamp.
