Putting dye in Humidity Channels

Can i put dye in the water at the bottom of my hova bator so i can see how much water is in there better?

If you use food coloring I don't see how that can hurt. Actually sounds like a good idea.

No issues there with food coloring. If you have a spare day of it not running just paint the bottom of the clear liner of the channel.
