I have a question. I set 15 quail eggs on 8-21. I have 25 more eggs that I need to set. Would it be okay to put them in the incubator with the other 15 eggs. They will be marked which one is the new eggs

Staggered hatches can be a challenge. Do you have a separate hatcher? If so, you can put the first 15 eggs into that for lockdown while the rest continue to turn. Otherwise I wouldn't do it. Quail eggs only have a 17 day incubation period, so a 7 day difference is pretty big.

I wouldn’t I would wait until the first batch hatches. Yes the hatch rate might go down but if you down have two incubators I would wait

Staggered hatches can be a challenge, even for an experienced harcher! If your 'new' to incubating eggs, I would highly recommend not doing it!

I always warm up eggs to slip in incubator if i am going to do a staggered hatch. I never put cold eggs in with started incubating eggs.
