Putting eggs in......Questions!!

Ok before my guineas stop laying i'm going to try this again. I'm going to clean out my incubator with some bleach water. Very little bleach so don't worry. But how many eggs should i put in? And what temp, humidty? How much water? Or could i do a dry incubation? How should i set the eggs in? How often or on what days should i candle? Please answer if possible.

Do you have a means of accurately tracking temp and humidity? Without those most of your questions can not be answered.

How many you put in depends on the bator and the egg turner if you use one.

Temp depends on still air, 101 or forced air 99.5.

How much water depends on what it shows on the instrument you are using to monitor humidity. Should be from 35 to 45% until the last three days and then raised to 60/65%.

Since it sounds like you're new to this wait until day 10 to candle. Guineas eggs are hard to see in to, with more development the easier it will be to see.

Space is not an issue i can fit around 300 eggs, and i have tons of fish thermometers in there reads 99.5 and its forced air. And i'm not new i just can never get good hatches---like less than 20%. And i do everythingim suppose to and nothing. So this is what im going to try, tell me if im doinging anything wrong. I'm going to clean it out, with bleach water, let it dry. Then the next day--- I have egg carton flat that i cut to fit the trays, and im going to cut a hole in the bottom where the eggs point will be---for air circulation. Then i'm going to get the humidty where it needs to be, till it stays constant for a day then i'm going to put 24 or s0 eggs in. Then check the humidy on day 7 and also candle then too. Then after i candle and fill the water tray i'll candle again on day 14, and candle, then candle and fill tray agian before lockdown---also through any eggs away---unfertile, died for some reason......ect. Sound good?

Try bumping you temperature up to 101 0r 101.5 other than that looks like ya got it right
