Putting the babies together! Advice???

I have six 5 1/2 week old TT's and just bought eight Reds that are now around 2 weeks. At what point will it be okay for them to be introduced to each other and what is the best way to go about this???

They have currently been in adjacent brooders for almost a week and a half.

When the little ones are 4 weeks they'll be a better match and will hold their own, but they are gonna need lots of space to do it.

Agreed. At this stage, the older chicks will tower over the younger and will peck them hard when re-establishing pecking order. They'll also mow the littler ones down when rushing to you for treats or just heading over to the feeder and waterer. Wait until the little chicks are about four weeks old and are better sized to hold their own against their older siblings.
