PVC Tractor Owners

I have decided to build a PVC tractor - Only concern is wind. Can all you PVC owners comment on the heavy wind gusts situations - Thanks

We have a PVC > hoop tractor. It does have a wood base. We do get lots of wind, so far, no issues. But, we've only had it sitting out for about a month.

This is my HEAVY tractor (the wheels aren't attached in this photo). The base and coop are wood, the rest PVC. A nest box has been attached to the outside where the plain panel is in the photo. It's been very sturdy, and no problems during several windstorms.

I made a 6’x8’ pvc hoop tractor with 2x4 framing on the ground. It’s covered with hardware cloth and weighs a good 50 to 60 lbs. When necessary I can throw a tarp over it to shade the pullets. Otherwise the wind just blows right through it like it wasn’t there
