I've had my goat for about a week now, whats it mean if his gums and under his eye lids is a pale grey?

Generally means worms. If he's mostly black his gums will be a bit more gray, but there should still be some pink to the gums and eyelids. Worms can get bad enough in some to kill them, so if you aren't seeing any pink than best to give him a couple of wormings. I've done once a week for 4 weeks a time or two. Otherwise a month apart can work too. Lots of ways to go about it.

Yup. Exactly my guess. I use safeguard personally. Some people like to use pellets with the feed but my goats steal each other's feed the whole time they are eating so I can't make sure they are getting the right potions. I like safeguard liquid. It quick easy and it works

Is it safeguard for goats or horses?

I use Ivomec plus made for cattle. I dose in the mouth, 1 cc for 30-50 pounds. I have also used Safeguard, and various horse paste wormers. It can depend on what you are worming for. Ivomec plus will kill lungworms, and tapeworms, and generally most worms goats can carry. Some others types don't. If your goat occasionally coughs more than like it has lungworms. There are tons of worms that like goats, some are irritants and others are quite deadly like barberpole worms.

You need to run a fecal ASAP!

Goats can usually have a Parasite bloom after moving.... And how old are they? Do you know when the old owner last wormed?

A fecal will help you know what worms you're goats are dealing.

I wasn't sure what to get so I picked up safeguard for goats, suspension 10% 100mg/ml

Yes. It always good to warm a goat before transportation or shortly after. Safeguard has the amounts for the weight of your goats right on the back of the bottle
