Quacking at 3 weeks?

ok so one of my Runners and my smaller Pekin female started quacking, or almost quacking a couple days ago. I thought it was their noses plugged up at first but then soon realized that they only made the sound when they were free ranging the backyard and were obviously happy. is this normal because I thought I read that they peep until they are around 6 weeks old?

My Pekin Hen started quacking at 3 weeks, it was just here and there, when she was preening, foraging etc. I think it sounds like you have your self a hen.

Like "peep peep honk peep"

Mine are 3 weeks old. They quack (not fully developed yet), whistle and chat all the time.

ok cool, looks like we are in the same boat. They are definately half quacks and half peeps, and they are extremely chatty. They seem to be lovin life though!
