Local pick-up only on this lovely Quad of Blue and White Cochins. They are just too heavy to ship safely, sorry. The Roo is huge, gentle and a good guardian for his hens. There are one blue hen, one solid white hen and one white Frizzle hen. The Frizzle hen is an excellent setter. These birds are 2 year old birds in good health. An excellent start to a small breeding flock of LF blue cochins. Sorry these guys are muddy, we have had more than our fair share of rain this year.

I do, I thought I had it loaded, but have two of the smooth white one. My Frizzle hen once went through a horrible molt late this past summer, it was her first. I mean she was really naked, top and bottom. she also decided to be a mommy right after that and I worried she would freeze this coming winter, and would never keep her eggs warm. I keep this group in my stable in a horse stall and they free-range during the day. She hatched her eggs fine and did have a bit of trouble keeping the chicks warm though. One day I noticed a really pretty Frizzled hen, fluffy and frizzly and wondered where she came from.........it was the naked hen, all feathered out. With a proper bath and blow drying, she would be quite a gorgeous girl. Here is the pics I have of her.

I wish you would consider letting me buy just her. I have been wanting to breed my own Standard White Cochin Frizzles for along time and have yet to find any Std White Frizzles available. I am in KY so I can drive to pick her up. I will offer you $30 just for her if your willing to part with just her?
