Can I incubate quail and chicken eggs at the same time? I know the hatch times are different, but other than that any issues?

I have done it and they are fine together. I set the chicken eggs first then wait 5 days and set the coturnix quail eggs so they all hatch at the same time. Works great that way. Just adjust the days to match so they hatch on the same day. Since different quail take different days to incubate. I have mountain quail in now with some serama eggs.

I have White Coturnix quail eggs coming. I already have chicken eggs in the incubator, one batch due to hatch next Tuesday and another a couple weeks from today. I run a seperate hatcher, so staggard hatches aren't a problem for me.

Thanks! I wasn't sure if I had missed something.

I've done Bobwhites, Chukar and Chickens all in the same bator. Worked fine for me. Good luck!
