Can quail and chickens coexist in the same coop?

Absolutely not. Some folks have done it with success, however chickens do carry diseases that can and will kill quail. Also, chickens are much larger and will often kill quail.

Chickens and quail have different feed requirements.

So it is advised to house the quail in their own quarters.
