quail and chickens

I was wondering if anyone would know if it would be ok to keep quail and chickens in the same coop. I was wanting to make sure they wouldnt pass any diseases to each other. I am considering getting bobwhite or courtnix.

are the quail going to be in cages in the coop? Quail are not like chickens and will fly away and they frighten easy and I don't think it would be ok to keep them loose with the chickens
