I just finished hatching a batch of coturnix quail. At the moment their brooder is in my office, which happens to also be the room my parrots reside in (Orange Wing Amazon, cockatiel). Should I move them? I sort of assumed since they were hatched and therefore not exposed to anything it was fine but now I’m second guessing it.

We really only have one other place to keep them that the cat doesn’t have access to, so I’m hoping it’s ok.

The other room is the shed, which is semi-climate controlled, but it’s my partner’s office (we finished it and ran electricity) and I’m pretty sure she wouldn’t be too happy with them as roomates LOL.

I think it’s ok so far. I just wash my hands when I switch which birbs I’m dealing with. They won’t be indoors forever.
