I was wondering if anyone had any info about quail chicks. Can I use my chicken brooder as long as it has a top?

That is what I used. I read somewhere quail,turkeys and other wild game can get a disease from chickens. I cleaned it well dusted it with DE and didn't have any issues. Quail will "pop" (jump straight up higher than you would think) when startled. So I like to have at least 18" of head room to prevent them from breaking there necks.
