Quail Chick Pipped!

I have 1 egg where a chick pipped but it is on the underside of the egg...... is this bad? sorry first time hatching any egg!

It should be fine as long as it's towards the larger side of the egg, the purpose of the pipping is to allow air into egg so as long as that can happen you'll be fine.

Great yes it is on the big end. Was about to give up on these pushing 22 days only 3 eggs that were in the shipping box with my breeder set of quail must have been laid in transit.

No it rolled all over the incubator but never made it out of the egg....
