So the quail unfortunately died, it was supposed to hatch this week but decided it didnt want to deal with the harsh outside world. It was far from being ready to hatch, I noticed a smell coming from my incubator as well as no movement,noise, progress when I candled it, here u can see the organs are still outside of the body, and the bones of the bird were super soft and squishy, it was beginning to rot in the egg, the bird itself measured about 1 inch, feathers came off by the slightest touch although that may be because the feathers didnt get the chance to fully connect to the body. Also this is how the egg looked on day 18, 360 photo of 1 egg.
